About the job

We are looking for someone who has the knowledge and skills required to teach in the subjects of Installation Technology and Energy Technology and who now wants to share their knowledge with students and be part of their education.

It is advantageous if you are a qualified and certified vocational teacher in electrical subjects.

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate with both students and colleagues. You are pedagogical, clear, meticulous, organized, and have good communication skills. You are expected to be solution-oriented, creative, and able to handle students' varying conditions and abilities.

You are responsible for planning and conducting your courses within the framework of the curriculum. You participate in the development of the program together with other teachers and work to integrate the school's education with the industry.

Documentation of teaching and results is also included, and you need to have basic IT skills, as well as be proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing. The job also involves contact with students and guardians as well as mentorship.

About the school

The Plumbing and Electrical Entrepreneurs' Free School in Stockholm (REFIS) is an industry-owned high school owned by the Installer Companies (IN). The school's board includes representatives from both the electrical and HVAC industries, as well as IN and school management. REFIS is affiliated with ETG College, a quality-assured educational concept for the electrical program, as well as VVS College.

REFIS is located in Liljeholmen, centrally in Stockholm. You can easily get here by bus, subway, and light rail. The facilities are well-equipped and well-suited for the school's activities, with a workshop with booths, welding room, and classrooms. The atmosphere at the school is safe and familial, where everyone supports each other and works as a team.

The school offers the Electrical and Energy Program, specializing in Electrical Engineering, and the HVAC and Property Program, specializing in HVAC. We currently have about 280 students and 26 staff members.
